Art Direction for Utne Reader

The Utne Reader is a compendium of previously published articles from the alternative press combined with original editorial content. I was Assistant Art Director.

The content at Utne was always compelling and thoughtful, which helped to make the challenge of selecting, commissioning and developing appropriate imagery one that I thoroughly enjoyed.

I selected, hired, and directed a variety of nationally and internationally known photographers and illustrators. I had the opportunity to work with some great artists who's work I admire.
